We are delighted to welcome guests from France and from abroad, and we hope you will enjoy a relaxing and romantic stay in one of our private spa suites.

A little note about the language...

If you are worried about the language barrier, don't be!

My English is not perfect… but we will manage!

Between a little English, translation tools, a few gestures, smiles and sometimes a little mime, we always find a way to understand each other!

Our priority is to make you feel welcome and comfortable from the moment you arrive.

We personally welcome you and show you around your suite. We will explain everything you need to know so that you can enjoy your stay with complete peace of mind.

Take your time and enjoy your last moments in your private spa before leaving.

Enjoy your evening in your suite

Sometimes, when you come for a romantic getaway, you simply don't want to go out again.

We completely understand!

That's why you can order sweet and savoury boards to enjoy directly in the privacy of your suite.

You can enjoy your evening together, without having to look for a restaurant or get back in the car.

Important

Our boards and other food options must be ordered at least 48 hours before your arrival.

🌿 Discover French Flanders

Suites Spa Détente de la Lys is located in La Gorgue, in French Flanders, a beautiful area of Northern France where French and Flemish influences meet.

Away from the busy city, you will find a peaceful countryside with many paths and small roads perfect for walking, cycling and simply enjoying the fresh air.

You can take a stroll through the countryside, discover charming villages or explore the local heritage.

And, of course, you cannot visit Northern France without discovering our local food!

The region is famous for its local beers, traditional cuisine and strong regional character.

During your stay, why not try some of our local specialities?

A very comforting dish made with melted cheese, beer, bread and ham.

Chicken with Maroilles cheese

A traditional Flemish-style beef stew cooked slowly with beer.

Welkom bij Suites Spa Détente de la Lys, in La Gorgue, in het hart van Frans-Vlaanderen, in Noord-Frankrijk.

Wij zijn blij om gasten uit Frankrijk én uit het buitenland te mogen verwelkomen. We hopen dat u een heerlijk ontspannen en romantisch verblijf zult hebben in één van onze privéspa-suites.

💚 Even over de taal...

Maakt u zich geen zorgen als u geen Frans spreekt!

Mijn Nederlands is helaas niet perfect… maar we komen er samen wel uit! 😊

Met een beetje Nederlands, vertaalapps, een paar gebaren, een glimlach en soms een beetje handen-en-voetenwerk begrijpen we elkaar altijd!

Het belangrijkste voor ons is dat u zich vanaf uw aankomst welkom en op uw gemak voelt.

Vanaf 18.00 uur

Wij verwelkomen u persoonlijk en begeleiden u naar uw suite. We leggen u alles uit wat u moet weten, zodat u zorgeloos van uw verblijf kunt genieten.

Uitchecken

Uiterlijk om 11.00 uur

Geniet rustig van uw laatste momenten in uw privéspa voordat u vertrekt.

🧀🍓 Geniet samen van een avond in uw suite

Wanneer u samen een romantisch verblijf boekt, wilt u soms gewoon niet meer naar buiten.

Dat begrijpen wij helemaal!

Daarom kunt u hartige en zoete planken bestellen om gezellig in alle privacy van uw suite te genieten.

Zo kunt u samen van uw avond genieten, zonder opnieuw de auto te moeten nemen of op zoek te gaan naar een restaurant.

Belangrijk

Onze planken en andere eetmogelijkheden moeten minstens 48 uur vóór uw aankomst worden besteld.

Suites Spa Détente de la Lys ligt in La Gorgue, in Frans-Vlaanderen, een bijzondere streek in Noord-Frankrijk waar Franse en Vlaamse invloeden samenkomen.

Ver weg van de drukte vindt u hier een rustig landschap met talrijke wandelpaden en kleine wegen die ideaal zijn om te wandelen, te fietsen of gewoon van de natuur te genieten.

U kunt heerlijk wandelen door het platteland, charmante dorpjes ontdekken of het lokale erfgoed verkennen.

En natuurlijk kunt u Noord-Frankrijk niet bezoeken zonder onze lokale keuken te ontdekken!

Een heerlijk stevig gerecht met gesmolten kaas, bier, brood en ham.

Kip met Maroilles
